My latest styling project allowed me to work with a woman I deeply respect and a good friend.  Allie Sheldan’s rock group Dead Voices’s latest video is called ‘Fix Me Up’.  I styled the entire band and cast for this shoot that was shot at the Builtmore Cabaret in Vancouver. See more of their music here

Back in the lovely Summer months of 2011 I was so fortunate to be the first visual intern at Anthropologie at the South Granville location in my home town of Vancouver.  I utilized my visual art skills that were finely tuned at the University of Victoria to solve problems, maximise our budget and create structures on a team with materials given. I learned a great deal about placement and visual space in a dual purpose space a retail and gallery style environment.  Bringing this brand identity into the space beyond the product creating a comfortable and engaging environment for the patron.

This past January I was excited to work on Lifetime Collectives booth at the KNOW SHOW.  I helped to create a space that was both inviting for buyers, and made the brands image tangible. Juxtaposing old with new I helped to create a booth that had a lil your best friend’s basement comfort and your favorite boutique all in one.

There are few people that move on a stage like Josh Tillman (formerly of Fleet Foxes). This is my second time shooting the band as they rolled through Vancouver’s Commodore on their tour opening for the Walkmen. The road seems to have only slightly worn J. TIllman, since I shot him last summer, (they have been to Vancouver 4 times in the last year) as he is ever the very physical performer I saw in 2012.

I LOVE shooting shows. Capturing a musician pouring themselves over an audience is one of the most satisfying things to capture as a photographer. The Walkman’s front man Hamilton Leithauser last night did just that at the Comodore in Vancouver.

I was so lucky to have had a featured role in the latest Marianas Trench music Video for their song “Stutter”.  Had a great time on set working with the talented choreographer and friend Daniella Dib, as well as some of the best dancers in Vancouver.  Enjoy!

I was the stylist assistant on a shoot for issue 17 of snap! magazine based out of Montreal.  First time working with the really talented photographer Andrew Volk.  Here are some screen caps as it appears in the magazine. I have worked under the wing of Mila Franovic for the past year now and am so grateful have worked with such a talent.

As part of an internship application to a local surf brand Sitka, I was challenged to design a casual yet technically complicated piece and a graphic for their spring 2013 line.

For Lifetime Clothing Collective I was given the challenge to design a window for their Spring/Summer 2012 line.  As it was a high traffic prime advertising real estate local, I used found materials that were on brand, as well as vintage accessories, juxtaposed with pieces from the collection.  I built a driftwood mobile, as well as designed and painted the canvas drop backs.  The photographs were suspended by pieces from the collection that were integrated into the hanging of the canvas panels.

After a lil baking at home I helped to create this social media post increasing brand awareness and social reach for Obakki Designs.
